Product Description

Signage is an important architectural element of any facility, especially behavioral health facilities. BSP is excited to partner with 2/90 Sign Systems to ensure the safety of your patients with SafeCare signs. SafeCare is the only American-made signage specifically designed for patient safety that is approved in the New York State Office of Mental Health Safety Standards.

Each sign is made of polycarbonate, which prevents the sign from breaking, preventing use as a choking hazard or weapon. The low-profile, beveled design eliminates sharp edges. Paint and graphics are subsurface, including ADA compliant tactile and Braille, to guard against tampering. Regardless of whether you are planning a new facility or increasing your facility’s safety by retrofitting your existing signage, BSP is ready to help you plan and program your facility to make it as safe as can be.

They are continuously evaluating the challenging needs of the behavioral environment and creating new products to meet our hospital needs.

Many of the products involved very specific details and the team at BSP went above and beyond to explain each specification and double check my work. The team at Behavioral Safety Products has been a terrific partner in our efforts to update our older behavioral health inpatient units. Many of the units have dated spaces that have odd fixtures and required retrofitting to be installed. They have helped us on multiple projects and even worked with their distributor to speed up delivery time in order for us to meet internal deadlines. BSP has been a pleasure to work with and a great resource for our facilities team.
