Behavioral Safety Products announces its new Ligature Resistant Towel Hook, the TH770.
In the middle of the pandemic, medical facilities have constantly growing needs to keep patients safe as well as keep their facility clean. Behavioral Safety’s TH770 Ligature Resistant Towel Hook is designed to hold towels or articles of clothing, while still maintaining secure conditions in hospital settings where ligature is a concern. This towel hook provides a pivoting half-moon shape that deters ligature, minimizing the potential for patient injury.
The Ligature Resistant Towel Hook offers a center grip for optimal hold. There are no sharp edges or points on this hook; the sloped faces help to prevent ligature points. This towel hook will return to the original position after releasing heavy objects.
The TH770 Towel Hook is constructed of matte white-powder coated, aircraft aluminum for abuse and corrosion resistance. It meets ADA standards when installed at the heights required for ADA compliance.
Behavioral Safety Products draws from its forty-four years of experience in the behavioral healthcare built environment to design its exclusive ligature-resistant building products. We continue to innovate to meet the new challenges that the industry faces and strive to develop technically sound, aesthetically pleasing, and economically viable products for behavioral healthcare safety.
