MORE COUNTER SPACE

The sink’s large footprint creates a natural “counter space” not commonly available in other sink designs.

With patient dignity at the forefront of our core beliefs, we added 8 inches of surface area to each side of the sink basin for a total of 16 inches. This enabled us to create vital, additional counter space that’s not usually found in a behavioral bathroom.

This design feature reduces patient frustration while providing a more homelike experience. Patients will be apt to heal more agreeably having another basic human need met and not taken away.

FLEXIBLE INSTALLATION
OPTIONS

Our Ligature Resistant Sink CS730 is non-handed, permitting both left and right corner mounting as well as center wall mounting.

Our mounting system is ideal for both retrofitting into existing spaces or newly designed bathrooms.

The CS730 accepts 4″ center set faucets as well as all BSP patented faucets.

LIGATURE RESISTANT

The thoroughly contoured design of our sink and integrated trap cover intercepts ligature.

The CS730 is designed to be paired with our TC720 ligature resistant trap cover, with an incorporated access door for repairs and inspection without removing the entire trap cover.

Our sink and interlocking trap cover maintain a tolerance of less than 1/16″ at their interface and were explicity designed to support weight up to 500 lbs. When installed per BSP’s Installation Instruction, our CS730 meets ADA height and clearance specifications. The CS730 accepts all 4″ center set faucets.

Product Description

Our patented CS730 Ligature Resistant Solid Surface Sink is non-handed, permitting both left and right corner mounting. It can also be mounted to the center of the wall or anywhere else along your bathroom walls. High on our list of core beliefs is patient humanity, so we added 8 inches of surface area to each side of our sink basin (16 inches total). This enabled us to create vital, additional counter space unusually found in a behavioral bathroom. As a result, patients will be apt to heal more agreeably having another basic human need met as opposed to having it taken away. Also, our solid surface construction lends its-self to a more natural and thus healing environment for the patient. This design feature dissuades patient frustration while providing a warmer, more familiar experience. The thoroughly contoured design of our sink and integrated trap cover intercepts ligature, and our mounting system is ideal for both retrofitting into existing spaces or newly designed bathrooms. The CS730 is designed to be paired with our TC720 ligature resistant trap cover, with an incorporated access door for repairs and inspection without removing the entire trap cover.
The sink and interlocking trap cover were explicitly designed to support additional weight and when installed per the manufacturer’s instructions, meet ADA height and clearance specifications. The CS730 accepts 4” center set faucets as well as all BSP patented faucets. The CS730 includes a ligature resistant drain, tamper- resistant mounting hardware, and a robust mounting plate in our sink kit for a complete installation package. For infection control, an anti-microbial coating was added to further encourage the physical health of patients and staff.

I am pleased to share with you and your team that we have had a highly positive experience with BSP. Your team has been very patient and responsive to our questions, our mistakes and our needs. Many of the products involved very specific details and the team at BSP went above and beyond to explain each specification and double check my work. We greatly appreciate all you have done for us and I’m sure will continue to do!

I greatly appreciate the assistance the team at BSP has provided us throughout the course of design and into construction. You have been very patient with what may have seemed like never-ending questions. I find it invaluable to have vendors, such as BSP, who are patient, thorough, and take the time to understand our project needs. Vendors like you keep owners and architects happy and ultimately help make the project a success.

The team at Behavioral Safety Products has been a terrific partner in our efforts to update our older behavioral health inpatient units. Many of the units have dated spaces that have odd fixtures and required retrofitting to be installed. They have helped us on multiple projects and even worked with their distributor to speed up delivery time in order for us to meet internal deadlines. BSP has been a pleasure to work with and a great resource for our facilities team.
